Dr. Markgraf and Hygienist Veronica are the best ever. They both and all the staff are quite thorough (almost beyond belief these days) in their explanations from start to finish. You know exactly what they are discussing and planning for your best interests. They truly enjoy providing loving gentle care and know what professional dentistry is all about. So glad I found Dr. Markgraf, his office, and staff!

On a Thursday several days before going on a ski trip to Colorado I broke a tooth. Upon walking into Dr. Markgraf’s office, they were able to schedule an appointment for Monday afternoon, which they keep open for emergencies during “season”. The break in the tooth was too severe to save. He was able to remove the broken piece and smooth the sharp edges so I would be able to go skiing and have the tooth removed when I returned to Punta Gorda. The ability to get an emergency appointment in a couple of days rather than a couple of weeks is outstanding. Dr. Markgraf’s quick response for his patient’s needs is noteworthy.

I am a snowbird and Dr Markgraf was recommended to me by a friend that lives here. I became a new patient by having my teeth regularly cleaned. His hygienist is excellent. Soon I needed him for a severe abscess. Problem was it occurred 10 days before a trip to South America. Somehow he fit me in and got me an endodontist to do a root canal. The tooth finally split and he had to remove it, all before my trip. I since have had him do an implant and also used him for a crown. He is an outstanding practitioner. If I have to have more major work done I will fly down here to have him do it. His entire office staff is professional, efficient, shows great understanding and courtesy. Could not give a higher recommendation.
